A native of the Outaouais region, Samuel played for 4 years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Drafted by the San José Sharks (NHL) in 2008, he then left the region to undertake university studies at the Université de Moncton, in New Brunswick, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2015. During his studies, he played with the men’s hockey team representing the institution, the Aigles Bleus.
After graduating, he spent a short time as a professional hockey player in Europe before returning to the region to settle there for good. He then started working at Desjardins, first as a personal finance advisor, then from 2018 as an Account Manager specializing in commercial financing in the construction sector.
In 2024, he made the jump to join the Boulet Construction team as Director of Operations. There, he is responsible for implementing the company’s operational strategy. In his spare time, Samuel still plays hockey for fun and is an avid golfer. Based in Chelsea, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and the family enjoys traveling a lot.
